Contributions and technical decisions
Developed application workflows connecting an Angular frontend with Node.js backend services through REST APIs.
Built interactive 3D room experiences using Three.js alongside user state, food ordering, inventory storage, and application data flows.
Integrated Stripe to support payment checkout and connected SendGrid for post-order email confirmations.
Connected frontend interactions with backend application state and third-party services to support end-to-end user workflows.

Contributions and technical decisions
Enabled users to create and edit profiles, maintain experience timelines, publish posts, and interact with other members of the platform.
Implemented login and sign-up workflows together with a profile-rating system supporting interactions between recruiters and applicants.
Developed reusable React and TypeScript components for application pages and interactive features.
Used Redux Toolkit to manage shared state across user accounts, profiles, posts, authentication flows, and ratings.

Contributions and technical decisions
Implemented and evaluated LRU, LFU, and MRU buffer-replacement policies alongside PostgreSQL's Clock policy.
Compared replacement behaviour using different query patterns and buffer-cache configurations.
Extended hash-join execution with Bloom-filter runtime filtering to eliminate probe tuples that could not match the build relation before further processing and disk I/O.
Investigated how catalog statistics, cardinality estimates, indexes, histograms, and most-common-value statistics influence query plans and join selection.

Contributions and technical decisions
Built a TLS-inspired communication protocol using Diffie–Hellman key exchange, HKDF session-key derivation, and AES-GCM authenticated encryption.
Developed a distributed database architecture with a routing layer and three sharded storage servers for directing requests to the appropriate data node.
Integrated certificate-based authentication through a custom certificate authority to validate communicating parties.
Added blockchain-style integrity protection using SHA-256 hashes and linked blocks to make stored-data modifications detectable.
Open-source Python contribution · Winter 2025
LangChain — Open-Source Contribution
Investigated schema-generation behaviour in LangChain involving injected tool arguments and worked on improving how runtime-only parameters are represented and filtered from user-facing tool schemas.
Traced the interaction between Python type annotations, injected arguments, Pydantic models, and generated JSON schemas.
Developed type-detection and filtering logic to distinguish runtime-injected parameters from arguments intended to be supplied by users.
Created Pydantic-compatible schema representations using `Annotated` and `WithJsonSchema` to preserve runtime behaviour while producing appropriate tool schemas.
Prepared runnable examples and tests to validate the proposed implementation and support review by project maintainers.
